Integrated PLC Glazed Tile Roofing Making Machine

This glazed tile roofing making machine converts flat metal coils into decorative stepped roof panels that reproduce the attractive appearance of traditional tiles while retaining the light weight, high strength, rapid installation, and practical durability of metal roofing. The finished sheets are suitable for residential buildings, villas, resorts, pavilions, warehouses, factories, commercial projects, prefabricated structures, and roof renovation work.

The machine shown uses a front-facing hydraulic step-pressing and cutting unit, a long multi-station forming bed, a rigid welded steel base, and a movable touch-screen operator panel. The green finished sheet visible at the discharge end demonstrates the deep rib structure and repeating tile steps created by the line. Final machine specifications are engineered according to the approved profile drawing, material grade, required capacity, and local electrical standard.

Key Production Advantages

  • Integrated forming, step pressing, length measuring, counting, and cutting reduce manual handling.

  • PLC and touch-screen operation allow convenient setting of panel length, batch quantity, and production parameters.

  • Hydraulic step pressing creates a distinct three-dimensional tile pattern with repeatable spacing.

  • Gradual multi-pass forming helps control deformation and protect coated sheet surfaces.

  • Rigid frame construction supports accurate roller alignment, smooth operation, and long equipment life.

  • Custom profile engineering allows adaptation to regional roofing styles and market requirements.

Standard Production Flow

Coil loading → strip guiding → optional leveling → continuous roll forming → hydraulic tile-step pressing → encoder length measurement → hydraulic profile cutting → panel receiving or automatic stacking.

How the Forming Line Works

The coil strip enters through an adjustable guide and passes through a sequence of precision rollers. Each station gradually bends the material until the required roof profile is completed. The hydraulic pressing unit then creates the repeating tile steps at programmed positions. An encoder measures the sheet length, while the PLC coordinates pressing, counting, and cutting. The finished panel exits onto a support table, conveyor, or automatic stacking system.

Finished Panel Benefits

  • Traditional glazed-tile appearance with lower structural weight

  • Fast installation and efficient transport to the building site

  • Custom panel lengths for different roof spans

  • Wide selection of coated steel colors and surface finishes

  • Good weather resistance when manufactured from suitable coated materials

  • Suitable for both new construction and roof renovation

Typical Application Scenarios

The finished glazed tile sheets can be used for villas, residential developments, holiday resorts, garden buildings, pavilions, agricultural facilities, commercial properties, factories, warehouses, prefabricated houses, light-steel structures, and renovation projects that require an attractive tile-style roof.

Customization Options

The line can be tailored for different feeding widths, effective cover widths, tile pitches, step depths, rib heights, material grades, thickness ranges, coil weights, panel lengths, and production capacities. Optional equipment includes a hydraulic decoiler, coil car, pre-leveler, protective-film applicator, punching unit, servo pressing system, synchronized cutter, run-out conveyor, automatic stacker, safety enclosure, voltage transformer, and remote diagnostics.

Quality Control Before Delivery

Before shipment, the machine can be checked for frame alignment, roller rotation, transmission performance, hydraulic pressure, tile-step consistency, encoder accuracy, cutting action, electrical control, and finished-panel dimensions. Trial sheets may be produced with the agreed material to verify profile shape and operating sequence.

Information Required for a Technical Proposal

Please provide the target roof tile drawing, raw material type, material yield strength, thickness range, feeding width, effective cover width, tile pitch, panel length range, target output, coil weight, local power supply, and preferred automation level. A physical sample panel can also be used as a design reference when a detailed drawing is unavailable.

Technical Note: All specifications are configurable. Final station quantity, motor powers, production speed, machine dimensions, weight, and component brands are subject to the approved profile drawing and signed technical agreement.
