Description
The TOPPO PLC controlled trapezoidal metal roofing sheet roll forming machine is designed for automatic and continuous production of trapezoidal roof panels and wall cladding sheets from galvanized steel, Galvalume, pre-painted steel and aluminum coils. The line integrates coil guiding, multi-stage cold roll forming, encoder length measurement, hydraulic cutting and finished-panel support. Panel width, rib height, rib pitch, material thickness, line speed, voltage and auxiliary equipment can be customized according to the customer's profile drawing and production requirements.

PLC Controlled Trapezoidal Metal Roofing Sheet Roll Forming Machine

This automatic trapezoidal roof panel production line converts flat metal coil into accurately formed roofing and wall-cladding sheets through a continuous cold roll forming process. The machine is suitable for factories producing metal roof panels for industrial buildings, warehouses, workshops, agricultural facilities, prefabricated structures and commercial construction projects.

The equipment shown is built with a rigid welded steel frame, multiple precision forming stations, hydraulic cutting unit, independent hydraulic power system and an operator-friendly control console. The forming rollers gradually shape the strip to reduce stress concentration, protect the coated surface and improve finished-panel consistency.

Main Advantages

  • Automatic production from coil feeding to fixed-length cutting

  • PLC and touchscreen operation for easy parameter setting

  • Encoder-based length control and automatic batch counting

  • Heavy-duty frame for stable long-term industrial operation

  • Profile-matched hydraulic cutting for clean panel ends

  • Custom roller design for different trapezoidal roofing profiles

  • Suitable for galvanized, Galvalume, color-coated steel and aluminum coils

  • Optional decoiler, leveling, punching, stacking and packaging equipment

How the Machine Works

  1. Coil loading: The metal coil is placed on the decoiler and aligned with the production line.

  2. Guiding: Adjustable entry guides center the strip before forming.

  3. Progressive roll forming: Multiple roller stations gradually create the trapezoidal ribs while controlling panel width and edge shape.

  4. Length measurement: The encoder continuously measures the moving panel and sends data to the PLC.

  5. Automatic cutting: The hydraulic cutting unit cuts the sheet when the programmed length is reached.

  6. Receiving and stacking: Finished panels move onto receiving tables or an optional automatic stacker.

Typical Finished-Panel Applications

Panels produced by this line can be used for industrial workshop roofs, warehouse cladding, logistics buildings, agricultural sheds, commercial structures, garages, carports, prefabricated houses, modular buildings, temporary buildings and general steel-structure construction.

Available Production-Line Options

  • Manual decoiler with standard roll former and receiving tables
