Description
The TOPPO automatic trapezoidal steel roofing panel roll forming machine is designed for continuous production of ribbed roof sheets and wall-cladding panels from galvanized steel, Galvalume, pre-painted steel and aluminum coils. Its open-frame forming section, precision roller tooling, PLC control cabinet and automatic length system support stable operation, clear maintenance access and consistent panel geometry. Profile shape, cover width, material thickness, line speed, voltage, cutting system and auxiliary equipment can be customized to the customer's approved drawing and factory requirements.

Automatic Trapezoidal Steel Roofing Panel Roll Forming Machine

This automatic cold roll forming machine converts flat metal coil into trapezoidal roofing and wall-cladding sheets through a continuous, progressive forming process. It is suitable for manufacturers serving industrial buildings, warehouses, workshops, agricultural structures, prefabricated houses, garages, carports and commercial construction projects.

The machine shown features an open-access forming frame, closely spaced roller stations, a rigid welded base and an independent electrical control cabinet. The progressive roller arrangement gradually forms the ribs, valleys and overlap edges, helping maintain consistent profile geometry while reducing abrupt deformation and unnecessary damage to coated sheet surfaces.

Main Advantages

  • Continuous automatic production from coil feeding to finished panel discharge

  • PLC control for panel length, quantity, speed and batch management

  • Precision-machined rollers for repeatable trapezoidal profile dimensions

  • Open-frame design for convenient inspection, cleaning and adjustment

  • Rigid welded base for stable operation and reduced vibration

  • Custom roller tooling developed from the buyer's panel drawing or sample

  • Suitable for GI, GL, PPGI, PPGL and aluminum coil materials

  • Expandable with decoiling, leveling, cutting, stacking and packaging systems

Production Process

  1. Coil loading: The raw-material coil is installed on the decoiler and aligned with the machine centerline.

  2. Guided feeding: Adjustable entry guides center the strip before the first forming station.

  3. Progressive forming: Multiple roller stations gradually create the ribs, valleys and overlap edges.

  4. Electronic measurement: The encoder measures panel travel and sends real-time length data to the PLC.

  5. Automatic cutting: The selected cutting unit operates when the programmed panel length is reached.

  6. Receiving and stacking: Finished sheets move to support tables or an optional automatic stacker.

Typical Applications

Finished panels can be used for industrial workshop roofs, warehouse walls, logistics facilities, agricultural sheds, commercial buildings, garages, carports, prefabricated houses, modular buildings, temporary structures and general steel-building projects.
