The integrated line combines adjustable strip guiding, precision multi-stage cold forming, PLC and HMI operation, encoder length measurement, hydraulic profile cutting and finished-panel support. Profile geometry, cover width, material thickness, production speed, voltage and auxiliary equipment can be customized according to the customer's approved drawing and production requirements.

Touchscreen Automatic Trapezoidal Roof Sheet Roll Forming Line

This automatic roll forming line converts flat metal coil into accurately shaped trapezoidal roofing and wall-cladding sheets through a continuous cold-forming process. It is suitable for manufacturers supplying industrial buildings, warehouses, workshops, agricultural structures, prefabricated houses, garages, carports and commercial construction projects.

The machine shown features a heavy welded frame, precision forming stations, an independent hydraulic power unit, a profile-matched cutting assembly and an elevated touchscreen control console. The progressive forming sequence helps control strip stress, preserve coated surfaces and maintain consistent rib geometry, effective cover width and finished panel length.

Key Advantages

  • Automatic production from guided coil feeding to fixed-length cutting

  • PLC and touchscreen control for length, quantity, speed and batch settings

  • Encoder-based measurement for repeatable finished-panel dimensions

  • Rigid welded frame for stable continuous industrial operation

  • Hydraulic profile cutting for clean and accurate panel ends

  • Custom roller tooling for different trapezoidal roof profiles

  • Suitable for galvanized, Galvalume, color-coated steel and aluminum coils

  • Expandable with decoiling, leveling, punching, stacking and packaging systems

Production Workflow

  1. Coil loading: The raw-material coil is loaded onto the decoiler and aligned with the production line.

  2. Guided feeding: Adjustable entry guides center the strip before the first forming station.

  3. Progressive forming: Multiple roller stations gradually create the ribs, valleys and side-lap edges.

  4. Electronic measurement: The encoder measures sheet travel and sends real-time length data to the PLC.

  5. Hydraulic cutting: The profile-matched cutter operates when the programmed panel length is reached.

  6. Receiving and stacking: Finished panels move to run-out tables or an optional automatic stacking system.

Typical Applications

The finished panels are widely used for industrial workshop roofs, warehouse walls, logistics centers, agricultural sheds, commercial buildings, garages, carports, prefabricated houses, modular buildings, temporary structures and general steel-structure construction.
